I’m Jimmy Yoon, a digital designer that likes working in all steps of the design process, from user experience resesarch, to interface design, to even front-end development.
I was originally born in Chicago, but spent the latter half of my teenage years in Singapore. I graduated from Northwestern University in June, 2016.
I design because I want to create solutions for people that impact their lives in a meaningful way. My hope is for users to have experiences they enjoy and remember.
I work as a product designer on the design team at Trunk Club, creating and iterating our public and internal digital experiences.
Along with my B.S. in RTVF, I also completed the Interactive Arts module within my department and the design certificate within the Segal Design Institute.
I worked as a graphic designer on a variety of projects from different departments at Northwestern. Many of the designed items include things such as posters, TV ads, and brochures. Example pieces can be found on my Behance site.
I was immersed in a program to learn full-stack design. During the program, I worked on exploratory start-up products as well as projects from existing start-ups.
